SUBSCRIPTIONS ERRORS

In this section, you will learn how to check and fix errors of your running subscriptions

Mizar subscriptions can be in different statuses:

  • Active: Trading without issues.

  • Paused: When a subscription is temporarily paused, it means that new positions will not be opened. However, the existing open positions will continue to be managed.

  • Error: Subscription encounters an error.

Errors

Mizar consistently monitors the well-being of your subscriptions, conducting checks for potential issues whenever there is an attempt to open or close an order. If such an attempt fails, the subscription enters an error status mode. Basic actions are usually sufficient to resolve the error in most cases.

In most cases, a subscription with an error has underlying positions with issues. For a clearer understanding of errors, we recommend checking at the position/order level. Learn how to do it here.

Errors can stem from various reasons, falling into the following categories:

  • Insufficient Mizar credits: This error arises when Mizar attempts order operations, but there isn't enough Mizar credits balance to cover volume and/or performance fees. To resolve this error:

    1. Buy Mizar Credits. Learn how here.

  • Insufficient funds: Adequate funds in your exchange are necessary for order operations. The bot temporarily stops trading if there are insufficient funds. To resolve this error:

    1. Add funds to your exchange account.

    2. Check fund availability (check if you have open orders consuming your funds).

    3. Verify that the funds are in the correct trading (sub)-account.

  • Insufficient order size: Orders have varying size limits, subject to market, pairs, or exchange conditions. Orders cannot be opened if the size is below the threshold. To resolve this error:

    1. Verify minimum order sizes for traded pairs.

    2. Adjust the base order size accordingly.

    3. Manually Add funds and close the position.

  • API keys authentication: Communication issues between Mizar and your exchange trigger this error. To resolve this error:

    1. Test your exchange keys. Read here.

    2. Generate new API keys on your exchange, and update your API keys on Mizar once done. Read here.

  • Permission denied: This error occurs when Mizar attempts to open or close orders, but the exchange denies the action. To resolve this error:

    1. Complete the exchange's verification process (KYC) or opt for an exchange that allows the desired trading, such as FUTURES.

    2. Generate new API keys on your exchange, ensuring the correct trading permissions are enabled. Update your API keys on Mizar once done. Read here.

  • Wrong FUTURES mode: If Mizar tries to open an order with a specific order mode that does not match the configured mode in the exchange account, this error occurs. To resolve this error:

    1. Generate new API keys on your exchange, ensuring the correct trading mode. Update your API keys on Mizar once done. Read here.

It's important to note that the error notification will persist until the bot opens a new order or closes an existing one, even after the issue is resolved.
