CONNECTIVITY ERRORS

In this section, you will learn how to check and fix errors while connecting

When connecting to an exchange, Mizar conducts tests to ensure smooth operations. This includes testing trading permissions through the creation and immediate cancellation of a limit order, which does not involve actual fund spending but requires a minimum balance of 15 USDT for testing.

Mizar also tests IP whitelisting by sending requests from all associated API key IPs and verifies appropriate blocking of requests from restricted IPs. If the exchange supports hedge mode, Mizar adjusts the futures position mode based on the "is_hedge_mode" parameter, switching between One-way-mode or Hedge-mode as needed.

Successful test results enable a seamless connection, allowing you to use Mizar without potential future connectivity issues. In case of test failures, you'll receive guidance on troubleshooting and resolving errors. Persistence is key, as overcoming initial challenges will lead to a successful connection.

Trading Permissions - SPOT / FUTURES

This error indicates the inability of Mizar to connect with your exchange and execute orders.

Potential Reasons:

  • Incorrect/expired API keys

  • SPOT trading permissions not enabled when creating API keys

  • Insufficient balance (less than 15 USDT) in your trading account

How to Fix:

  1. Ensure correct copying and pasting of API keys into the designated input fields and make sure the keys are not expired.

  2. Enable SPOT trading permissions when generating API keys.

  3. Maintain a minimum balance of 15 USDT in your trading account.

  4. If all steps are followed and issues persist, try to repeat the process again.

IPs Whitelisting

If you got this error, it means that something went wrong with the IPs whitelisted addresses.

Potential Reasons:

  1. Incorrect copying and pasting of whitelisted IP addresses during API key creation.

  2. Inaccurate entry of whitelisted IP addresses.

  3. Incomplete pasting of all 10 whitelisted IP addresses. (For Crypto.com, only 5 IPs need to be pasted.)

How to Fix:

  1. Generate a new API key on your exchange and copy all whitelisted IPs from Mizar. Confirm the accuracy of the copied IPs.

  2. Verify that all 10 (or 5 for Crypto.com) whitelisted IPs are copied and pasted during API key creation.

  3. If all steps are followed and issues persist, try to repeat the process again.

Position Mode - FUTURES

This error indicates that Mizar was not able to configure the trading mode for your FUTURES (sub)-account.

Potential Reasons:

  1. The API keys created do not support Hedge Mode (or one-way mode).

  2. There are already open orders in your sub-account using one-way mode (or viceversa if setting one-way mode).

How to fix?

  1. Check that one-way mode or hedge mode is supported by your exchange / sub-account.

  2. Verify whether there are any open positions on your (sub)-account. If their mode doesn't align with the setup you're attempting, close the positions.

Sometimes, it might be that the exchange is on maintance or not available. In this case, just wait and try again. For assistance with any issues, the Mizar team is available on Telegram, Discord, or via email at support@mizar.ai.
